NOTE: please remember that we don’t have to RP every single detail. If you look at the task planning, just kinda ‘follow’ what’s said there. Although of course you can change it up a bit. It is possible to skip bits here and there. Otherwise it will be a drag and take forever to finish the task :/ Oh and please reblog this as text so that we don’t lose anything. Once we have made one circle (every time), I will shorten it so that it doesn’t become SUPER long :P

Nate took a look around. There were students gathered in the port, ready to get on the boat. It seemed like quite a few were eager to get on with the task. Whether it was because they were excited or just wanted to get it over with so that they could go home, Nate couldn’t tell. And it didn’t really mattter to him either at that point. All he wanted to do was to get his friends back. It was simple. He didn’t want to be a hero, he didn’t feel like one. But this task, made him feel like he might actually achieve something. He was one of the last ones to board and once everyone was on, the boat left the port. Nate took one last look back, knowing that he would see it soon again. He hoped that Felicity and everyone else was safe because he would’ve hated if anything happened to them while he was away. Sitting down he started paddling, helping everyone else on board.
The soft breeze whirled Cyd’s hair around her in a tangled mess, but she kept her hands where they were. Her perch on the side of the boat was precarious enough as it was; she didn’t want to drop the knuckle-whitening grip she currently held on the edge. One quick glance down into the water below was enough to convince her never to let go. “It’s just the sea. It’s just the sea. It’s just the sea,” she repeated at a whisper, drilling the words into her head. “You’re on a boat, you’ll be fine.” If nothing else, the mantra took her mind off the outside world. She’d never reacted like this before - but then again, she’d never been in quite this situation. Something about the combination of monsters and pressure and the fact that the sea hadn’t ever been a welcome sight, and her brain turned to mush. Cyd was confident she was a picture, but didn’t dare meet the gazes of her fellow group members.
Too quickly they were off, lurching across the open waters, and Cyd’s guilt got the better of her. Stop being an idiot. If Imi saw you like this, she would kill herself laughing. The thought gave her a small measure of strength, enough to pitch further into the centre of the boat and join in the paddling with timid strokes. Her gaze was kept firmly on the waves ahead, her arms moving in erratic motions that she was perfectly sure wasn’t really helping anybody. But at least it made her feel better. We’ll get there soon, we’ll get there soon, we’ll get there soon.
Amarina began to whistle slightly as the wind blew her hair in all different places. He head spun around multiple times and she tried to make out what the figures around her were. Sea monsters? Possible, but before Amarina could think about it for any longer her gaze landed on Cyd and immediately a smile spread across her face. Although she was happy that Cyd was right next to her, behind her beautiful smile Amarina hid the worry that filled her heart as she thought about the dangers of their task.
The paddling wasn’t too bad, Amarina was used to paddling her surfboard and she didn’t really grow tired easily. Her smile began to evaporate while the group paddle onwards in the small boat, but she was patient. There were no short-cuts with theses tasks, she knew they had to be done perfectly or something could go wrong. Amarina began to blink as she waited for something to happen next. She was completely aware of her surroundings, ready to strike if something happened.
DJ honestly had no idea why he even thought of going on this task of all tasks. He didn’t even know anyone in the boat, other than Nate. But even then, he still didn’t. He was only doing this for Shiloh. He was like a brother to him, even though they were cousins. When he died, DJ almost flipped and destroyed more than he thought he could ever do. He knew he couldn’t let his emotions get the best of him as he paddled with the others.
Why the hell were they paddling anyway? Good thing he was Uranus, the primordial god of the sky. He didn’t need this silly ass paddle to get him anyway. Letting his eyes turn white, he guided the wind behind the boat, propelling it faster. No use wasting your breath on paddling when he could command the winds to push the boat for him. He leaned back in the boat, legs crossed as he grinned to himself. He was a beast and he knew it.
Will sighed to himself as looked around his little boat. He barely knew any of his task-mates, and to be honest, that made him kinda nervous He knew Solomon, and that was only because he was Summer’s little brother. Speaking of which…Summer Buffett. Now matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t get her out of his head. However, now was not the time to be thinking about a girl, no matter how wonderful she was. Will stared out at the water and promised himself that until this task was over, he would not think about her. She had her task and he had his. And right now, he needed to concentrate on his, especially since he had no clue what he was really doing. All he knew was that he would do whatever it took to get the boys back. Will glanced at the sea one more time, wondering what surprises were in store.

Solomon gulped upon hearing Nate’s instructions. There was a mixture of emotions inside the sixteen-year-old boy’s body....

Solomon grinned as he nodded his head, paddling in a happier manner than most people. Yeah, the fact that people are...
